IDQ celebrates 40 years in the Automotive A/C business!

Interdynamics was founded in 1970 with operations originally in Brooklyn, NY, developing one of the first “do-it-yourself” A/C recharging kits.

EF Products started up in 1993 in the Dallas, TX area. EF introduced the first closed system retrofit kit for automotive A/C systems.

In 2008, a merger between these two highly successful automotive A/C companies resulted in the newly formed IDQ Inc. Combining the strengths of both companies has made IDQ the leader in Automotive A/C Products for the do-it-yourselfer and professional service technician.

Our focus is on quality, easy-to-use products backed by exceptional customer service.

IDQ’s innovations over the years include the first D-I-Y charging kit, patented, in-line gauges, easy-to-use dispensers and lock on quick-connectors that make recharging fast and easy. Our first retrofit kit was introduced over 15 years ago, enabling the DIY customer to convert from R-12 to R-134a with minimal cost (as compared to replacing an entire A/C system through a repair shop). We introduced our single-step Super Seal leak sealer that seals leaks in both metal and rubber components and more recently have introduced our premium brand of lubricants and oil charges with patented Ice32® performance enhancers.

Today IDQ operates and services our customers from the Dallas, Metroplex area. This centrally located site in Garland, TX allows us to quickly and efficiently service our customers. This same facility includes our Technical Support Team, Purchasing and Sales.

The company also maintains offices in Tarrytown, NY, with Financial functions, Customer Service as well as Marketing and Sales.
